California is so many things, but it’s the wildness that captures my heart. Massive redwoods, humpback whales, pacific pelicans, Joshua trees and all the untamed spaces inspired this collection.

Sam Slater Art Studio was born at the back of a bus almost a decade ago, when Sam decided to draw a children’s book for a family friend. He then moved on to creating silly drawings for his newborn son, who loved to watch him draw.

The studio is now a family-owned business run by Sam (art/design/born and raised in London) and Erin (everything else/born and raised in California/also=wife).

We create museum-quality art, printed on archival paper, that is designed to be passed down through the generations.

Sustainability Pledge

We care a lot about sustainability, and integrate as many sustainable practices into our studio as possible.

We will expand these practices as we grow.
